Villa Calma is just a 45-minute drive from the Randstad, yet in the immediate surroundings you’ll find Walibi Flevo, the Dolfinarium, and Lake Wolderwijd with its beautiful beaches. The charming old Zuiderzee towns of Harderwijk, Elburg, and Nijkerk are all within easy reach.
Villa Calma is situated in Villapark Horsterwold: right in the middle of the forest and just 4 km from the village of Zeewolde. The park offers a large swimming pool, two tennis courts, and a pétanque court — all available for guest use. The holiday home sits on over 900 m² of private land, peacefully located at the edge of the park. This means plenty of privacy in a deep, landscaped garden facing south, with a view of the trees where deer often stop by to say hello.
The Horsterwold is one of the largest contiguous deciduous forests in the Netherlands. Where better to enjoy peace and space? You'll be sharing the forest only with roe deer, wild horses, fallow deer, foxes and birds. An extensive network of trails and routes awaits you. This vast area is full of hidden gems and unique sights — perfect for exploring by bike, on foot, on horseback, or even by canoe.
A perfect location for a family weekend or a peaceful team retreat in nature.

Due to the rules of the villa park, this property is not rented to groups of young people under the age of 23.

Hosting student parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, drinking events, and drug use in Villa Calma is strictly prohibited.

Peace and quiet are important qualities of Villapark Horsterwold. Please respect this and avoid any noise that can be heard outside Villa Calma.
After 00:00, complete silence must be observed in the park.

In case of complaints from park management about noise disturbance, the host may cancel the booking immediately and unilaterally, without any right to a refund of the rental fees.

Smoking is prohibited inside Villa Calma. You may smoke outside in the designated areas in the garden.

Caravans and campervans are not allowed to be parked on the private property of Villa Calma.

Tourist tax in the municipality of Zeewolde (2025) is €3.31 per person per night. This must be paid before arrival. A payment link will be sent by the host along with the check-in instructions. Tourist tax may be adjusted up or down annually. Villa Calma has no control over this imposed tax.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations up to and including the 43rd day before the agreed arrival date: 10% of the total rental amount.

For cancellations from the 42nd to the 29th day before arrival: 50% of the total rental amount.

For cancellations from the 28th day up to and including the arrival day: 90% of the total rental amount.

In case of late cancellation or no-show, the full rental amount will be charged.
